Join the fight to end homelessness at DePaul University. (See the Events Page for tickets.)
Founded in 2008, Depaul USA supports people experiencing homelessness to ensure that everyone has a place to call home and a stake in the community. Depaul USA provides housing and support for the homeless communities of Chicago, Little Rock, Macon, New Orleans, Philadelphia and St. Louis.
Depaul USA aims to end homelessness and change the lives of those affected by it. Programs serve those who are materially poor, treating participants with dignity and respect, and counseling. All of our programs have the same overarching goals:
- to help homeless men and women overcome the immediate crisis of homelessness;
- to help participants become economically more self-sufficient;
- to enable participants to improve their health and well-being; and
- to help participants attain and maintain housing.
The organization is one of six subsidiaries of Depaul International, www.depaulinternational.org, all of which are inspired by the values and wisdom of St. Vincent de Paul. The group’s subsidiaries are located in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Ukraine, Slovakia, France, and the United States.
